I just knew which direction this book was headed when Lexie said she had a twin. The plot was predictable. I really just don’t enjoy a female character that is so selfless and “puts everyone first” to her own detriment. Why can’t she be selfless and strong? I just thought it was meh. Definitely will not be reading the next book in the series.

This was a hot, sexy, sweet, emotional romance about two people who are perfect for each other and fill the voids left by other people in their lives. Emotional family issues and the bonds of friends and family that keep us strong during the lowest points of life. Kaden Barnes is a extremely hot alpha male with very specific needs and wants out of a PA and a strong aversion to trusting women. (his past is so heart breaking) Lexie Parker is a sexy, sweet woman with a caring and giving nature that has lost her chosen profession and is desperate for a job. Her sister is her first priority and has been for many years (how she lost her job) both her mother and sister are in need of care and treatment. All the while you are wondering if they can have a real relationship with her family and his current business issues and on going needs. Overall it was a very interesting, entertaining and enjoyable adventure and I look forward to reading more from this group.

Sacrifice. It's all about sacrifice for Lexi Parker. She's sacrificed her personal life and her professional one all in the name of love for her severely depressed twin sister. It's especially difficult when sparks fly whenever they're in the same room. Great storyline! Fabulous and well developed characters. It's full of personal challenges, family hurdles and love. Kaden is shocked to find his partners have hired him a new assistant, Lexie. She does not take anything from anyone. If only she didn't make him hot. Lexie is thrilled to have a new job. She just hopes her past and secrets stay there. In the past. Now if she could just forget how hot her boss looked today in a towel.... Either dropping wet or totally dry, these two are hot for each other. With flirty conversation or totally hot looks, this is a couple who are falling hard. Carly Phillips never disappoints!

Loved it! The characters are authentic. The emotions and interactions realistic. I particularly like that Kade is an alpa with imperfections. His imperfections are the reason he no longer has a relationship with his mother. Kade was too much for her to handle. With that pain he believes he is not capable of having relationships let alone someone to love him, imperfections and all. Lexie is the perfect compliment to Kade. She understands his complex personality and begins to care for him. However, Lexie doesn't believe that she has the ability for a loving relationship either. She has family concerns and responsibilities that always come first. Lexie truly believes she cannot choose Kade over her family. Their story is touching and admirable. Kade and Lexie give each other what they believe is the best even if it means heartbreak.

Fabulous Workplace Romance

I loved, loved, loved Going Down Easy so much! I was hooked within the first few pages; the plot mesmerized me and kept me reading straight through to the end! This is the best book I've read in a while, and I highly recommend it to everyone! The characters were complex, believable, and likable. Kade is a billionaire businessman with some quirks that make it difficult for him to keep a personal assistant. Lexie is his newest personal assistant. Both Kade and Lexie have secrets in their lives that keep them from getting close to anyone. Can the two of them mix business and pleasure, or will their secrets tear them apart? This is the first book in a new series, and I can't wait to read the next one! I was especially impressed with the tactful way mental illness was handled in this book. I was already a big Carly Phillips fan, but she has really outdone herself this time!

Going Down Easy is the first book in Carly Phillips newest series, the Billionaire Bad Boys. In this story we meet Kaden Barnes, one of the creators of a new phone app called Blink. Kaden is as alpha as they come. He has trouble keeping an assistant for more than a day or two. That is until Lexie Parker takes on the job. Lexie is no nonsense, efficient, and all business. She is willing to stand up for herself and not take any gruff from Kaden. Lexie is one of the few who understands Kaden’s idiosyncrasies. This is due in part from her experience as caretaker for her twin sister who is bi-polar. In addition to be a wonderful assistant, Lexie is beautiful and modest, which attracts Kaden’s attention. This book is definitely hot and sexy with loveable characters that you want to support and cheer on hoping for that happy ending. The characters were well written, believable, and complex. They shared more than just the chemistry between them. I genuinely enjoyed reading this book, until I realized the trouble that would break up the two main characters about three-quarters of the way through, before it actually occurred in the story. That doesn’t mean it was bad, it’s just I prefer to be a bit more surprised with the twists and turns. I didn’t anticipate the final journey for Kaden and Lexie, which increased my delight in the story. Despite these feelings, I do recommend this book to other readers. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

This story has a great twist that I didn't fully see coming!

Wow...normally I like to take my time reading a Carly Phillips book to enjoy the story longer, but I just couldn't put this book down....it was that good! Lexie Parker has been having to take care of her twin, Kendall for most of their life. Kendall is bi-polar. This wouldn't be so bad, but their mother also suffers from deep depression so Lexie's parents are no help. Lexie has put her life on hold because of Kendall. After losing her last job because of time spent away with Kendall, Lexie's dad gets her a job at Blink being the personal assistant to Kaden Barnes, one of the owners, and a general pain-in-the-butt, demanding man. Lexie is used to having to deal with demanding people because of Kendall and walks into the job taking over control. OMG, their first meeting was priceless! Lexie comes to realize that there are reasons why Kaden acts the way he does and she can deal with that, but she's having a harder time dealing with attraction to her new boss. As the two spend time together, their sexual chemistry is ready to explode! I just adored Lexi. She was a no-nonsense, straight shooter who gives as good as she gets and I just loved that! I also loved Kaden and how flawed he really was because of events from his past. These two characters really were made for each other. The entire story from their relationship, their families and work was wonderful. This story has a great twist that I didn't fully see coming. Awesome start to new a series and I can't wait for Lucas' story!

ANOTHER HOT STORY FROM CARLY PHILLIPS

Going Down Easy (Billionaire Bad Boys, Book #1) Carly Phillips delivers another home run! I LOVED this book so much. I could not put this book down. Carly did a great job of showing both Lexie and Kade dealing with some sort of mental health problem in their lives. It gave them the ability sense what the other needed when they were having a bad time. At times I felt like my heart was breaking for Kade either in situations out in public (specifically how he orders his drinks) knowing his friends/business associates are watching how specific he is or when he slowly reveals parts of himself to Lexie, feeling out of control at the club or when things were not orderly. I loved how they both took care of each other. This book delivers on every level. I laughed, I cried and I cheered. (I really got emotional at the end). I always enjoy the strong friendships that Carly creates. I'm always a little sad when a series ends but no worries because Carly always gives us something even better. (I love how Ian Dare made a small appearance...Hi Ian! LOL). I received a complimentary copy for an honest review but I have a copy pre-ordered but I've still have my pre-order in!!!! Cannot wait for book 2! This is a must read.

Great new series from Carly Phillips. Going Down Easy is the first book in the new Billionaire Bad Boys series. This book stars Kaden and Lexie. Lexie is a caregiver to her sister who is bi-polar and has been in and out of treatments. Kaden is part of a group of guys who launched an app that just took off and made them loads of money. Lexie gets a job as Kaden's new assistant...but it doesn't take long for Kaden to realize that he wants Lexie in other areas of his life as well. Going Down Easy is a great read. It's sexy and fun. I can't wait to read more from the Billionaire Bad Boys and Carly Phillips!

Great start to a new series!

Great start to Carly Phillips new series!!!!!! This book made me want to reach through the pages and give Kade a huge hug! Right after I smacked him and kissed him ;). Lexie had every reason to run after she met and dealt with the demands her new boss had. But boy did she stand her ground. She was used to difficult people in her life. There was no better match for Kade than Lexie. You could feel their chemistry from their first meeting and it only grew from that point. This was a fast paced and fun read! Can't wait for book 2!

Awesome start to new series

Once again Carly Phillips has blown me away with one of her books. I fell in love with Kaden Barnes quirks and all pretty much from the moment he appeared on the page. I also think Lexie Parker is one of the strongest heroines Ms. Phillips has ever written. Lexie Parker is once again starting over in her career thanks to always stepping in to help take care of her twin sister, Kendall. When she is offered a job at Blink as Kaden Barnes assistant, she ever expected to be immediately attracted to her boss and completely get all his quirks. I think because Lexie had been there for her mom and her sister dealing with their problems, she understood Kade's anxiety issues and his OCD issues easier. I loved that where his issues had been problems for people in the past, yet Lexie just saw it as another part of who he was. I loved that Lexie and Kade were both instantly attracted to one another and their chemistry was off the charts hot. Seriously they had some smoking hot love scenes and I fell more in love with them as a couple to more time they spent together. I hated that parts of Kade's past kept popping up messing with his current happiness. However, he proved what an incredible guy he was by making sure he always took care of his friends, even when it kept him from being completely happy. Going Down Easy was an amazing start to the Billionaire Bad Boys series. I loved Kade and can't wait to read the next 2 books to find out more about his partners in Blink. The beginning of another great series

This is the first book in a new series, but can also be read as a stand alone, by Carly Phillips. Lexie is the care taker of her twin sister so she ends up taking a position as the assistant to a quirky Kaden Barnes, billionaire tech ceo with a past. There is some suspicious activity and wonderful story telling. You just don't want to put this book down. This couple has great chemistry and respect for each other. Will they be able to work through their trust issues. Can't wait for the next book in this series to see what's going on.

There is some suspicious activity and wonderful story telling. You just don't want to put this book down. This couple has great chemistry and respect for each other. Will they be able to work through their trust issues. Can't wait for the next book in this series to see what's going on.

I really just don’t enjoy a female character that is so selfless and “puts everyone first” to her own detriment. Why can’t she be selfless and strong? I just thought it was meh. Definitely will not be reading the next book in the series.

This was a hot, sexy, sweet, emotional romance about two people who are perfect for each other and fill the voids left by other people in their lives. Emotional family issues and the bonds of friends and family that keep us strong during the lowest points of life. Kaden Barnes is a extremely hot alpha male with very specific needs and wants out of a PA and a strong aversion to trusting women. (his past is so heart breaking) Lexie Parker is a sexy, sweet woman with a caring and giving nature that has lost her chosen profession and is desperate for a job. Her sister is her first priority and has been for many years (how she lost her job) both her mother and sister are in need of care and treatment. All the while you are wondering if they can have a real relationship with her family and his current business issues and on going needs. Overall it was a very interesting, entertaining and enjoyable adventure and I look forward to reading more from this group.

Carly Phillips never disappoints!

Loved it! The characters are authentic. The emotions and interactions realistic. I particularly like that Kade is an alpa with imperfections. His imperfections are the reason he no longer has a relationship with his mother. Kade was too much for her to handle. With that pain he believes he is not capable of having relationships let alone someone to love him, imperfections and all. Lexie is the perfect compliment to Kade. She understands his complex personality and begins to care for him. However, Lexie doesn't believe that she has the ability for a loving relationship either. She has family concerns and responsibilities that always come first. Lexie truly believes she cannot choose Kade over her family. Their story is touching and admirable. Kade and Lexie give each other what they believe is the best even if it means heartbreak.

I loved, loved, loved Going Down Easy so much! I was hooked within the first few pages; the plot mesmerized me and kept me reading straight through to the end! This is the best book I've read in a while, and I highly recommend it to everyone! The characters were complex, believable, and likable. Kade is a billionaire businessman with some quirks that make it difficult for him to keep a personal assistant. Lexie is his newest personal assistant. Both Kade and Lexie have secrets in their lives that keep them from getting close to anyone. Can the two of them mix business and pleasure, or will their secrets tear them apart? This is the first book in a new series, and I can't wait to read the next one! I was especially impressed with the tactful way mental illness was handled in this book. I was already a big Carly Phillips fan, but she has really outdone herself this time!

Going Down Easy is the first book in Carly Phillips newest series, the Billionaire Bad Boys. In this story we meet Kaden Barnes, one of the creators of a new phone app called Blink. Kaden is as alpha as they come. He has trouble keeping an assistant for more than a day or two. That is until Lexie Parker takes on the job. Lexie is no nonsense, efficient, and all business. She is willing to stand up for herself and not take any gruff from Kaden. Lexie is one of the few who understands Kaden’s idiosyncrasies. This is due in part from her experience as caretaker for her twin sister who is bi-polar. In addition to be a wonderful assistant, Lexie is beautiful and modest, which attracts Kaden’s attention. This book is definitely hot and sexy with loveable characters that you want to support and cheer on hoping for that happy ending. The characters were well written, believable, and complex. They shared more than just the chemistry between them. I genuinely enjoyed reading this book, until I realized the trouble that would break up the two main characters about three-quarters of the way through, before it actually occurred in the story. That doesn’t mean it was bad, it’s just I prefer to be a bit more surprised with the twists and turns. I didn’t anticipate the final journey for Kaden and Lexie, which increased my delight in the story. Despite these feelings, I do recommend this book to other readers. Wow...normally I like to take my time reading a Carly Phillips book to enjoy the story longer, but I just couldn't put this book down....it was that good! Lexie Parker has been having to take care of her twin, Kendall for most of their life. Kendall is bi-polar. This wouldn't be so bad, but their mother also suffers from deep depression so Lexie's parents are no help. Lexie has put her life on hold because of Kendall. After losing her last job because of time spent away with Kendall, Lexie's dad gets her a job at Blink being the personal assistant to Kaden Barnes, one of the owners, and a general pain-in-the-butt, demanding man. Lexie is used to having to deal with demanding people because of Kendall and walks into the job taking over control. OMG, their first meeting was priceless! Lexie comes to realize that there are reasons why Kaden acts the way he does and she can deal with that, but she's having a harder time dealing with attraction to her new boss. As the two spend time together, their sexual chemistry is ready to explode! I just adored Lexi. She was a no-nonsense, straight shooter who gives as good as she gets and I just loved that! I also loved Kaden and how flawed he really was because of events from his past. These two characters really were made for each other. The entire story from their relationship, their families and work was wonderful. This story has a great twist that I didn't fully see coming. Awesome start to new a series and I can't wait for Lucas' story!

ANOTHER HOT STORY FROM CARLY PHILLIPS

Going Down Easy (Billionaire Bad Boys, Book #1) Carly Phillips delivers another home run! I LOVED this book so much. I could not put this book down. Carly did a great job of showing both Lexie and Kade dealing with some sort of mental health problem in their lives. It gave them the ability sense what the other needed when they were having a bad time. At times I felt like my heart was breaking for Kade either in situations out in public (specifically how he orders his drinks) knowing his friends/business associates are watching how specific he is or when he slowly reveals parts of himself to Lexie, feeling out of control at the club or when things were not orderly. I loved how they both took care of each other. This book delivers on every level. I laughed, I cried and I cheered. (I really got emotional at the end). I always enjoy the strong friendships that Carly creates. I'm always a little sad when a series ends but no worries because Carly always gives us something even better. (I love how Ian Dare made a small appearance...Hi Ian! LOL). I received a complimentary copy for an honest review but I have a copy pre-ordered but I've still have my pre-order in!!!! Cannot wait for book 2! This is a must read.

Great new series from Carly Phillips. Going Down Easy is the first book in the new Billionaire Bad Boys series. This book stars Kaden and Lexie. Lexie is a caregiver to her sister who is bi-polar and has been in and out of treatments. Kaden is part of a group of guys who launched an app that just took off and made them loads of money. Lexie gets a job as Kaden's new assistant...but it doesn't take long for Kaden to realize that he wants Lexie in other areas of his life as well. Going Down Easy is a great read. It's sexy and fun. I can't wait to read more from the Billionaire Bad Boys and Carly Phillips!

Great start to Carly Phillips new series!!!!!! This book made me want to reach through the pages and give Kade a huge hug! Right after I smacked him and kissed him ;). Lexie had every reason to run after she met and dealt with the demands her new boss had. But boy did she stand her ground. She was used to difficult people in her life. There was no better match for Kade than Lexie. You could feel their chemistry from their first meeting and it only grew from that point. This was a fast paced and fun read! Can't wait for book 2!

Once again Carly Phillips has blown me away with one of her books. I fell in love with Kaden Barnes quirks and all pretty much from the moment he appeared on the page. I also think Lexie Parker is one of the strongest heroines Ms. Phillips has ever written. Lexie Parker is once again starting over in her career thanks to always stepping in to help take care of her twin sister, Kendall. When she is offered a job at Blink as Kaden Barnes assistant, she ever expected to be immediately attracted to her boss and completely get all his quirks. I think because Lexie had been there for her mom and her sister dealing with their problems, she understood Kade's anxiety issues and his OCD issues easier. I loved that where his issues had been problems for people in the past, yet Lexie just saw it as another part of who he was. I loved that Lexie and Kade were both instantly attracted to one another and their chemistry was off the charts hot. Seriously they had some smoking hot love scenes and I fell more in love with them as a couple to more time they spent together. I hated that parts of Kade's past kept popping up messing with his current happiness. However, he proved what an incredible guy he was by making sure he always took care of his friends, even when it kept him from being completely happy. Going Down Easy was an amazing start to the Billionaire Bad Boys series. I loved Kade and can't wait to read the next 2 books to find out more about his partners in Blink. I really just don’t enjoy a female character that is so selfless and “puts everyone first” to her own detriment. Why can’t she be selfless and strong? I just thought it was meh. This was a hot, sexy, sweet, emotional romance about two people who are perfect for each other and fill the voids left by other people in their lives. Emotional family issues and the bonds of friends and family that keep us strong during the lowest points of life. Kaden Barnes is a extremely hot alpha male with very specific needs and wants out of a PA and a strong aversion to trusting women. (his past is so heart breaking) Lexie Parker is a sexy, sweet woman with a caring and giving nature that has lost her chosen profession and is desperate for a job. Her sister is her first priority and has been for many years (how she lost her job) both her mother and sister are in need of care and treatment. All the while you are wondering if they can have a real relationship with her family and his current business issues and on going needs. Overall it was a very interesting, entertaining and enjoyable adventure and I look forward to reading more from this group.

Carly Phillips never disappoints!

Loved it! The characters are authentic. The emotions and interactions realistic. I particularly like that Kade is an alpa with imperfections. His imperfections are the reason he no longer has a relationship with his mother. Kade was too much for her to handle. With that pain he believes he is not capable of having relationships let alone someone to love him, imperfections and all. Lexie is the perfect compliment to Kade. She understands his complex personality and begins to care for him. However, Lexie doesn't believe that she has the ability for a loving relationship either. She has family concerns and responsibilities that always come first. Lexie truly believes she cannot choose Kade over her family. Their story is touching and admirable. Kade and Lexie give each other what they believe is the best even if it means heartbreak.

I loved, loved, loved Going Down Easy so much! I was hooked within the first few pages; the plot mesmerized me and kept me reading straight through to the end! This is the best book I've read in a while, and I highly recommend it to everyone! The characters were complex, believable, and likable. Kade is a billionaire businessman with some quirks that make it difficult for him to keep a personal assistant. Lexie is his newest personal assistant. Both Kade and Lexie have secrets in their lives that keep them from getting close to anyone. Can the two of them mix business and pleasure, or will their secrets tear them apart? This is the first book in a new series, and I can't wait to read the next one! I was especially impressed with the tactful way mental illness was handled in this book. I was already a big Carly Phillips fan, but she has really outdone herself this time!

Going Down Easy is the first book in Carly Phillips newest series, the Billionaire Bad Boys. In this story we meet Kaden Barnes, one of the creators of a new phone app called Blink. Kaden is as alpha as they come. He has trouble keeping an assistant for more than a day or two. That is until Lexie Parker takes on the job. Lexie is no nonsense, efficient, and all business. She is willing to stand up for herself and not take any gruff from Kaden. Lexie is one of the few who understands Kaden’s idiosyncrasies. This is due in part from her experience as caretaker for her twin sister who is bi-polar. In addition to be a wonderful assistant, Lexie is beautiful and modest, which attracts Kaden’s attention. This book is definitely hot and sexy with loveable characters that you want to support and cheer on hoping for that happy ending. The characters were well written, believable, and complex. They shared more than just the chemistry between them. I genuinely enjoyed reading this book, until I realized the trouble that would break up the two main characters about three-quarters of the way through, before it actually occurred in the story. That doesn’t mean it was bad, it’s just I prefer to be a bit more surprised with the twists and turns. I didn’t anticipate the final journey for Kaden and Lexie, which increased my delight in the story. Despite these feelings, I do recommend this book to other readers. Wow...normally I like to take my time reading a Carly Phillips book to enjoy the story longer, but I just couldn't put this book down....it was that good! Lexie Parker has been having to take care of her twin, Kendall for most of their life. Kendall is bi-polar. This wouldn't be so bad, but their mother also suffers from deep depression so Lexie's parents are no help. Lexie has put her life on hold because of Kendall. After losing her last job because of time spent away with Kendall, Lexie's dad gets her a job at Blink being the personal assistant to Kaden Barnes, one of the owners, and a general pain-in-the-butt, demanding man. Lexie is used to having to deal with demanding people because of Kendall and walks into the job taking over control. OMG, their first meeting was priceless! Lexie comes to realize that there are reasons why Kaden acts the way he does and she can deal with that, but she's having a harder time dealing with attraction to her new boss. As the two spend time together, their sexual chemistry is ready to explode! I just adored Lexi. She was a no-nonsense, straight shooter who gives as good as she gets and I just loved that! I also loved Kaden and how flawed he really was because of events from his past. These two characters really were made for each other. The entire story from their relationship, their families and work was wonderful. This story has a great twist that I didn't fully see coming. Awesome start to new a series and I can't wait for Lucas' story!

ANOTHER HOT STORY FROM CARLY PHILLIPS

Going Down Easy (Billionaire Bad Boys, Book #1) Carly Phillips delivers another home run! I LOVED this book so much. I could not put this book down. Carly did a great job of showing both Lexie and Kade dealing with some sort of mental health problem in their lives. It gave them the ability sense what the other needed when they were having a bad time. At times I felt like my heart was breaking for Kade either in situations out in public (specifically how he orders his drinks) knowing his friends/business associates are watching how specific he is or when he slowly reveals parts of himself to Lexie, feeling out of control at the club or when things were not orderly. I loved how they both took care of each other. This book delivers on every level. I laughed, I cried and I cheered. (I really got emotional at the end). I always enjoy the strong friendships that Carly creates. I'm always a little sad when a series ends but no worries because Carly always gives us something even better. (I love how Ian Dare made a small appearance...Hi Ian! LOL). I received a complimentary copy for an honest review but I have a copy pre-ordered but I've still have my pre-order in!!!! Cannot wait for book 2! This is a must read.

Lexie is a caregiver to her sister who is bi-polar and has been in and out of treatments. Kaden is part of a group of guys who launched an app that just took off and made them loads of money. Lexie gets a job as Kaden's new assistant...but it doesn't take long for Kaden to realize that he wants Lexie in other areas of his life as well. Going Down Easy is a great read. It's sexy and fun. I can't wait to read more from the Billionaire Bad Boys and Carly Phillips!

Great start to Carly Phillips new series!!!!!! This book made me want to reach through the pages and give Kade a huge hug! Right after I smacked him and kissed him ;). Lexie had every reason to run after she met and dealt with the demands her new boss had. But boy did she stand her ground. She was used to difficult people in her life. There was no better match for Kade than Lexie. You could feel their chemistry from their first meeting and it only grew from that point. This was a fast paced and fun read! Can't wait for book 2!

Once again Carly Phillips has blown me away with one of her books. I fell in love with Kaden Barnes quirks and all pretty much from the moment he appeared on the page. I also think Lexie Parker is one of the strongest heroines Ms. Phillips has ever written. Lexie Parker is once again starting over in her career thanks to always stepping in to help take care of her twin sister, Kendall. When she is offered a job at Blink as Kaden Barnes assistant, she ever expected to be immediately attracted to her boss and completely get all his quirks. I think because Lexie had been there for her mom and her sister dealing with their problems, she understood Kade's anxiety issues and his OCD issues easier. I loved that where his issues had been problems for people in the past, yet Lexie just saw it as another part of who he was. I loved that Lexie and Kade were both instantly attracted to one another and their chemistry was off the charts hot. Seriously they had some smoking hot love scenes and I fell more in love with them as a couple to more time they spent together. I hated that parts of Kade's past kept popping up messing with his current happiness. However, he proved what an incredible guy he was by making sure he always took care of his friends, even when it kept him from being completely happy. Going Down Easy was an amazing start to the Billionaire Bad Boys series. I loved Kade and can't wait to read the next 2 books to find out more about his partners in Blink. This is the first book in a new series, but can also be read as a stand alone, by Carly Phillips. Lexie is the care taker of her twin sister so she ends up taking a position as the assistant to a quirky Kaden Barnes, billionaire tech ceo with a past. There is some suspicious activity and wonderful story telling. You just don't want to put this book down. This couple has great chemistry and respect for each other. Will they be able to work through their trust issues. Can't wait for the next book in this series to see what's going on.

I just knew which direction this book was headed when Lexie said she had a twin. The plot was predictable. I really just don’t enjoy a female character that is so selfless and “puts everyone first” to her own detriment. Why can’t she be selfless and strong? I just thought it was meh. Definitely will not be reading the next book in the series.

This was a hot, sexy, sweet, emotional romance about two people who are perfect for each other and fill the voids left by other people in their lives. Emotional family issues and the bonds of friends and family that keep us strong during the lowest points of life. Kaden Barnes is a extremely hot alpha male with very specific needs and wants out of a PA and a strong aversion to trusting women. (his past is so heart breaking) Lexie Parker is a sexy, sweet woman with a caring and giving nature that has lost her chosen profession and is desperate for a job. Her sister is her first priority and has been for many years (how she lost her job) both her mother and sister are in need of care and treatment. All the while you are wondering if they can have a real relationship with her family and his current business issues and on going needs. Overall it was a very interesting, entertaining and enjoyable adventure and I look forward to reading more from this group.

Carly Phillips never disappoints!

Loved it! The characters are authentic. The emotions and interactions realistic. I particularly like that Kade is an alpa with imperfections. His imperfections are the reason he no longer has a relationship with his mother. Kade was too much for her to handle. With that pain he believes he is not capable of having relationships let alone someone to love him, imperfections and all. Lexie is the perfect compliment to Kade. She understands his complex personality and begins to care for him. However, Lexie doesn't believe that she has the ability for a loving relationship either. She has family concerns and responsibilities that always come first. Lexie truly believes she cannot choose Kade over her family. Their story is touching and admirable. Kade and Lexie give each other what they believe is the best even if it means heartbreak.

Fabulous Workplace Romance

I loved, loved, loved Going Down Easy so much! I was hooked within the first few pages; the plot mesmerized me and kept me reading straight through to the end! This is the best book I've read in a while, and I highly recommend it to everyone! The characters were complex, believable, and likable. Kade is a billionaire businessman with some quirks that make it difficult for him to keep a personal assistant. Lexie is his newest personal assistant. Both Kade and Lexie have secrets in their lives that keep them from getting close to anyone. Can the two of them mix business and pleasure, or will their secrets tear them apart? This is the first book in a new series, and I can't wait to read the next one! I was especially impressed with the tactful way mental illness was handled in this book. I was already a big Carly Phillips fan, but she has really outdone herself this time!

Going Down Easy is the first book in Carly Phillips newest series, the Billionaire Bad Boys. In this story we meet Kaden Barnes, one of the creators of a new phone app called Blink. Kaden is as alpha as they come. He has trouble keeping an assistant for more than a day or two. That is until Lexie Parker takes on the job. Lexie is no nonsense, efficient, and all business. She is willing to stand up for herself and not take any gruff from Kaden. Lexie is one of the few who understands Kaden’s idiosyncrasies. This is due in part from her experience as caretaker for her twin sister who is bi-polar. In addition to be a wonderful assistant, Lexie is beautiful and modest, which attracts Kaden’s attention. This book is definitely hot and sexy with loveable characters that you want to support and cheer on hoping for that happy ending. The characters were well written, believable, and complex. They shared more than just the chemistry between them. I genuinely enjoyed reading this book, until I realized the trouble that would break up the two main characters about three-quarters of the way through, before it actually occurred in the story. That doesn’t mean it was bad, it’s just I prefer to be a bit more surprised with the twists and turns. I didn’t anticipate the final journey for Kaden and Lexie, which increased my delight in the story. Despite these feelings, I do recommend this book to other readers. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Wow...normally I like to take my time reading a Carly Phillips book to enjoy the story longer, but I just couldn't put this book down....it was that good! Lexie Parker has been having to take care of her twin, Kendall for most of their life. Kendall is bi-polar. This wouldn't be so bad, but their mother also suffers from deep depression so Lexie's parents are no help. Lexie has put her life on hold because of Kendall. After losing her last job because of time spent away with Kendall, Lexie's dad gets her a job at Blink being the personal assistant to Kaden Barnes, one of the owners, and a general pain-in-the-butt, demanding man. Lexie is used to having to deal with demanding people because of Kendall and walks into the job taking over control. OMG, their first meeting was priceless! Lexie comes to realize that there are reasons why Kaden acts the way he does and she can deal with that, but she's having a harder time dealing with attraction to her new boss. As the two spend time together, their sexual chemistry is ready to explode! I just adored Lexi. She was a no-nonsense, straight shooter who gives as good as she gets and I just loved that! I also loved Kaden and how flawed he really was because of events from his past. These two characters really were made for each other. The entire story from their relationship, their families and work was wonderful. This story has a great twist that I didn't fully see coming. Awesome start to new a series and I can't wait for Lucas' story!

ANOTHER HOT STORY FROM CARLY PHILLIPS

Going Down Easy (Billionaire Bad Boys, Book #1) Carly Phillips delivers another home run! I LOVED this book so much. I could not put this book down. Carly did a great job of showing both Lexie and Kade dealing with some sort of mental health problem in their lives. It gave them the ability sense what the other needed when they were having a bad time. At times I felt like my heart was breaking for Kade either in situations out in public (specifically how he orders his drinks) knowing his friends/business associates are watching how specific he is or when he slowly reveals parts of himself to Lexie, feeling out of control at the club or when things were not orderly. I loved how they both took care of each other. This book delivers on every level. I laughed, I cried and I cheered. (I really got emotional at the end). I always enjoy the strong friendships that Carly creates. I'm always a little sad when a series ends but no worries because Carly always gives us something even better. (I love how Ian Dare made a small appearance...Hi Ian! LOL). I received a complimentary copy for an honest review but I have a copy pre-ordered but I've still have my pre-order in!!!! Cannot wait for book 2! This is a must read.

Great new series from Carly Phillips. Going Down Easy is the first book in the new Billionaire Bad Boys series. This book stars Kaden and Lexie. Lexie is a caregiver to her sister who is bi-polar and has been in and out of treatments. Kaden is part of a group of guys who launched an app that just took off and made them loads of money. Lexie gets a job as Kaden's new assistant...but it doesn't take long for Kaden to realize that he wants Lexie in other areas of his life as well. Going Down Easy is a great read. It's sexy and fun. I can't wait to read more from the Billionaire Bad Boys and Carly Phillips!

Great start to a new series!

Great start to Carly Phillips new series!!!!!! This book made me want to reach through the pages and give Kade a huge hug! Right after I smacked him and kissed him ;). Lexie had every reason to run after she met and dealt with the demands her new boss had. But boy did she stand her ground. She was used to difficult people in her life. There was no better match for Kade than Lexie. You could feel their chemistry from their first meeting and it only grew from that point. This was a fast paced and fun read! Can't wait for book 2!

Awesome start to new series

Once again Carly Phillips has blown me away with one of her books. I fell in love with Kaden Barnes quirks and all pretty much from the moment he appeared on the page. I also think Lexie Parker is one of the strongest heroines Ms. Phillips has ever written. Lexie Parker is once again starting over in her career thanks to always stepping in to help take care of her twin sister, Kendall. When she is offered a job at Blink as Kaden Barnes assistant, she ever expected to be immediately attracted to her boss and completely get all his quirks. I think because Lexie had been there for her mom and her sister dealing with their problems, she understood Kade's anxiety issues and his OCD issues easier. I loved that where his issues had been problems for people in the past, yet Lexie just saw it as another part of who he was. I loved that Lexie and Kade were both instantly attracted to one another and their chemistry was off the charts hot. Seriously they had some smoking hot love scenes and I fell more in love with them as a couple to more time they spent together. I hated that parts of Kade's past kept popping up messing with his current happiness. However, he proved what an incredible guy he was by making sure he always took care of his friends, even when it kept him from being completely happy. Going Down Easy was an amazing start to the Billionaire Bad Boys series. I loved Kade and can't wait to read the next 2 books to find out more about his partners in Blink. The beginning of another great series

This is the first book in a new series, but can also be read as a stand alone, by Carly Phillips. Lexie is the care taker of her twin sister so she ends up taking a position as the assistant to a quirky Kaden Barnes, billionaire tech ceo with a past. There is some suspicious activity and wonderful story telling. You just don't want to put this book down. This couple has great chemistry and respect for each other. Will they be able to work through their trust issues. Can't wait for the next book in this series to see what's going on.

I just knew which direction this book was headed when Lexie said she had a twin. The plot was predictable. I really just don’t enjoy a female character that is so selfless and “puts everyone first” to her own detriment. Why can’t she be selfless and strong? I just thought it was meh. Definitely will not be reading the next book in the series.

This was a hot, sexy, sweet, emotional romance about two people who are perfect for each other and fill the voids left by other people in their lives. Emotional family issues and the bonds of friends and family that keep us strong during the lowest points of life. Kaden Barnes is a extremely hot alpha male with very specific needs and wants out of a PA and a strong aversion to trusting women. (his past is so heart breaking) Lexie Parker is a sexy, sweet woman with a caring and giving nature that has lost her chosen profession and is desperate for a job. Her sister is her first priority and has been for many years (how she lost her job) both her mother and sister are in need of care and treatment. All the while you are wondering if they can have a real relationship with her family and his current business issues and on going needs. Overall it was a very interesting, entertaining and enjoyable adventure and I look forward to reading more from this group.

Carly Phillips never disappoints!

Loved it! The characters are authentic. The emotions and interactions realistic. I particularly like that Kade is an alpa with imperfections. His imperfections are the reason he no longer has a relationship with his mother. Kade was too much for her to handle. With that pain he believes he is not capable of having relationships let alone someone to love him, imperfections and all. Lexie is the perfect compliment to Kade. She understands his complex personality and begins to care for him. However, Lexie doesn't believe that she has the ability for a loving relationship either. She has family concerns and responsibilities that always come first. Lexie truly believes she cannot choose Kade over her family. Their story is touching and admirable. Kade and Lexie give each other what they believe is the best even if it means heartbreak.

Fabulous Workplace Romance

I loved, loved, loved Going Down Easy so much! I was hooked within the first few pages; the plot mesmerized me and kept me reading straight through to the end! This is the best book I've read in a while, and I highly recommend it to everyone! The characters were complex, believable, and likable. Kade is a billionaire businessman with some quirks that make it difficult for him to keep a personal assistant. Lexie is his newest personal assistant. Both Kade and Lexie have secrets in their lives that keep them from getting close to anyone. Can the two of them mix business and pleasure, or will their secrets tear them apart? This is the first book in a new series, and I can't wait to read the next one! I was especially impressed with the tactful way mental illness was handled in this book. I was already a big Carly Phillips fan, but she has really outdone herself this time!

Going Down Easy is the first book in Carly Phillips newest series, the Billionaire Bad Boys. In this story we meet Kaden Barnes, one of the creators of a new phone app called Blink. Kaden is as alpha as they come. He has trouble keeping an assistant for more than a day or two. That is until Lexie Parker takes on the job. Lexie is no nonsense, efficient, and all business. She is willing to stand up for herself and not take any gruff from Kaden. Lexie is one of the few who understands Kaden’s idiosyncrasies. This is due in part from her experience as caretaker for her twin sister who is bi-polar. In addition to be a wonderful assistant, Lexie is beautiful and modest, which attracts Kaden’s attention. This book is definitely hot and sexy with loveable characters that you want to support and cheer on hoping for that happy ending. The characters were well written, believable, and complex. They shared more than just the chemistry between them. I genuinely enjoyed reading this book, until I realized the trouble that would break up the two main characters about three-quarters of the way through, before it actually occurred in the story. That doesn’t mean it was bad, it’s just I prefer to be a bit more surprised with the twists and turns. I didn’t anticipate the final journey for Kaden and Lexie, which increased my delight in the story. Despite these feelings, I do recommend this book to other readers. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Wow...normally I like to take my time reading a Carly Phillips book to enjoy the story longer, but I just couldn't put this book down....it was that good! Lexie Parker has been having to take care of her twin, Kendall for most of their life. Kendall is bi-polar. This wouldn't be so bad, but their mother also suffers from deep depression so Lexie's parents are no help. Lexie has put her life on hold because of Kendall. After losing her last job because of time spent away with Kendall, Lexie's dad gets her a job at Blink being the personal assistant to Kaden Barnes, one of the owners, and a general pain-in-the-butt, demanding man. Lexie is used to having to deal with demanding people because of Kendall and walks into the job taking over control. OMG, their first meeting was priceless! Lexie comes to realize that there are reasons why Kaden acts the way he does and she can deal with that, but she's having a harder time dealing with attraction to her new boss. As the two spend time together, their sexual chemistry is ready to explode! I just adored Lexi. She was a no-nonsense, straight shooter who gives as good as she gets and I just loved that! I also loved Kaden and how flawed he really was because of events from his past. These two characters really were made for each other. The entire story from their relationship, their families and work was wonderful. This story has a great twist that I didn't fully see coming. Awesome start to new a series and I can't wait for Lucas' story!

ANOTHER HOT STORY FROM CARLY PHILLIPS

Going Down Easy (Billionaire Bad Boys, Book #1) Carly Phillips delivers another home run! I LOVED this book so much. I could not put this book down. Carly did a great job of showing both Lexie and Kade dealing with some sort of mental health problem in their lives. It gave them the ability sense what the other needed when they were having a bad time. At times I felt like my heart was breaking for Kade either in situations out in public (specifically how he orders his drinks) knowing his friends/business associates are watching how specific he is or when he slowly reveals parts of himself to Lexie, feeling out of control at the club or when things were not orderly. I loved how they both took care of each other. This book delivers on every level. I laughed, I cried and I cheered. (I really got emotional at the end). I always enjoy the strong friendships that Carly creates. I'm always a little sad when a series ends but no worries because Carly always gives us something even better. (I love how Ian Dare made a small appearance...Hi Ian! LOL). I received a complimentary copy for an honest review but I have a copy pre-ordered but I've still have my pre-order in!!!! Cannot wait for book 2! This is a must read.

Great new series from Carly Phillips. Going Down Easy is the first book in the new Billionaire Bad Boys series. This book stars Kaden and Lexie. Lexie is a caregiver to her sister who is bi-polar and has been in and out of treatments. Kaden is part of a group of guys who launched an app that just took off and made them loads of money. Lexie gets a job as Kaden's new assistant...but it doesn't take long for Kaden to realize that he wants Lexie in other areas of his life as well. Going Down Easy is a great read. It's sexy and fun. I can't wait to read more from the Billionaire Bad Boys and Carly Phillips!

Great start to Carly Phillips new series!!!!!! This book made me want to reach through the pages and give Kade a huge hug! Right after I smacked him and kissed him ;). Lexie had every reason to run after she met and dealt with the demands her new boss had. But boy did she stand her ground. She was used to difficult people in her life. There was no better match for Kade than Lexie. You could feel their chemistry from their first meeting and it only grew from that point. This was a fast paced and fun read! Can't wait for book 2!

Awesome start to new series

Once again Carly Phillips has blown me away with one of her books. I fell in love with Kaden Barnes quirks and all pretty much from the moment he appeared on the page. I also think Lexie Parker is one of the strongest heroines Ms. Phillips has ever written. Lexie Parker is once again starting over in her career thanks to always stepping in to help take care of her twin sister, Kendall. When she is offered a job at Blink as Kaden Barnes assistant, she ever expected to be immediately attracted to her boss and completely get all his quirks. I think because Lexie had been there for her mom and her sister dealing with their problems, she understood Kade's anxiety issues and his OCD issues easier. I loved that where his issues had been problems for people in the past, yet Lexie just saw it as another part of who he was. I loved that Lexie and Kade were both instantly attracted to one another and their chemistry was off the charts hot. Seriously they had some smoking hot love scenes and I fell more in love with them as a couple to more time they spent together. I hated that parts of Kade's past kept popping up messing with his current happiness. However, he proved what an incredible guy he was by making sure he always took care of his friends, even when it kept him from being completely happy. Going Down Easy was an amazing start to the Billionaire Bad Boys series. I loved Kade and can't wait to read the next 2 books to find out more about his partners in Blink. Going Down Easy was an amazing start to the Billionaire Bad Boys series. I loved Kade and can't wait to read the next 2 books to find out more about his partners in Blink. The beginning of another great series

This is the first book in a new series, but can also be read as a stand alone, by Carly Phillips. Lexie is the care taker of her twin sister so she ends up taking a position as the assistant to a quirky Kaden Barnes, billionaire tech ceo with a past. There is some suspicious activity and wonderful story telling. You just don't want to put this book down. This couple has great chemistry and respect for each other. Will they be able to work through their trust issues. Can't wait for the next book in this series to see what's going on.
